"I can't live like this anymore"

Hey, it’s Ramon

I have a private client that lives in the Cayman Islands, is happily married, and has a good paying job.

On her intake form, she told me her soul was crying for more…

and that her dream was to take her coaching job to the next level.

(She helps single ladies find love, by helping them overcome past programming).

In the middle of a beautiful afternoon during her vacation in Colombia, she got an email from her work demanding the submission of some “silly” documents.

She told me, “Ramon, I can’t live like this anymore, I’m sick of people telling me what to do… on my vacation with my husband, nonetheless.”

The most powerful decisions best insights often come from complete dissatisfaction.

I knew she had already successfully coached clients.

And she told me she had a program that was 95% finished, that had ALREADY helped people… and that if she needed to, could help someone today.

I asked her if anything was stopping her from telling people about it.

And she said, “I guess, fear.”

“Fear of what?”

Fear that my program won’t work for everyone.

And this is where I stopped her.

EVERYBODY has some form of imposter syndrome.  I don’t care who you are.

The problem she had, was she making her own self worth dependent on SOMEONE ELSE’S opinion of her… and the results THEY got.

I asked her this:

“Do you know your program has helped people?”

“Yes.”

I said “So, how is it your business what anyone does with a program you have DEMONSTRATED can help others?”

The lightbulb went off.

We talked about what she wanted.

She got really clear as to what her ideal future was going to look like.

And I asked her to do one thing.

To take a single step in the direction of the life she wanted… as a coach.

Then a couple weeks ago, she sent me this:

She had a private zoom with 6 ladies, who would be PERFECT for her coaching…

Of those 6, two are in talks to become a client.

Here’s the take-home lesson.
