Try this once today...

Most people assume that if they understand something well enough, they should be able to change it.
That’s logical — but it just ain’t how the brain works.
When life gets stressful, the part of the brain that plans, visualizes, and sets goals takes a vacation.
And the older, protective part takes over.

That’s why sometimes you freak out even when you “know better”.

At some point today, pause and say this (out loud or in your head):
“Nothing is wrong right now.”
That’s it.
Don’t try to feel better.
Don’t fix anything.
Don’t change your mood.
After all, “problems” only exist when we dwell on the past or are anxious about the future, right?
Nothing is wrong right now.
Just notice what happens in your body when you say this.
For most people, there’s an exhale. A drop in tension. You start to relax a little bit.
That’s huge!
Because change doesn’t start with effort — it starts when the nervous system stops freaking out.
And you can’t think your way into that.
You have to experience it.

Ya don’t have to analyze this.
Just try it once or twice today and see what happens.
