"was I doing it wrong?"

Hey, It's Ramon —

A member in my community had been doing one of my meditations, drifting in that half-asleep state in the morning, and he started visualizing his future — the dream house, the dream career, a soulmate walking through the door.

Except that's not what showed up.

Instead, the vision shifted on him.

Suddenly he's in a living room, on the floor, with a baby boy he didn't plan for, married to a woman he knows, and he's flooded with this bursting happiness — totally prosperous, totally in love.

And then he woke up a little shook. Because his question was basically:

"Was I doing it right... or did this go off the rails into a runaway daydream? Did I waste the energy of my desire?"

I love this question. Because it gets right to the thing almost everybody gets wrong about manifestation.

Here's what I told him.

A visualization — or honestly any manifestation technique — is really just a permission slip. It's you giving yourself permission to step into the state of being you actually want. And your state of being is the whole game. The frequency you're giving off is what determines what comes back to you.

So if the vision got him into that state — the bursting joy, the love, the prosperity — then he used the tool perfectly. It doesn't matter that the picture changed.

And this is the part that tripped me up for years:

I used to think if I visualized a specific thing — a stack of hundred-dollar bills, a specific person — then that exact thing was what had to show up. I'd get obsessed with the form. And by clinging to one picture, I was actually blocking all the other ways the universe could've brought me the same feeling.

The vision was never the point. The state was the point.

So here's the truth, for AJ and for you:

Stop insisting it has to look a certain way.

Get into the feeling. Build it until it's white-hot. And then — like Neville says — you drop the picture. It's done. And you go live your day as the person who already has it.

Because you can only attract who you are.

You don't get the loving relationship by picturing the right face.

You become the unconditionally loving, prosperous version of you — you walk like her, think like her, feel like her — and the reflection comes back through synchronicity. Often in a form you never would've drawn up yourself.

The vision changing on him wasn't a malfunction.

It might've been the most honest thing his subconscious has ever shown him.

Talk soon, Ramon

P.S. That exchange happened inside my Inner Circle — it's the kind of thing we get into every week. Real questions, real breakthroughs, live coaching, a new masterclass every month, and a community that actually shows up for each other.

If you've been doing this work on your own and you're ready to do it with people (and with me, every month) — that's what the Inner Circle is for. You can check it out here.
